Auction Solution Services Ltd is a private limited company (No 6330459) who are fully qualified eBay Trading Assistants, specialising in Consumer to Consumer, Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Charity and not for profit voluntary organisations auctions. In addition Auction Solution Services provides local and national courier services specifically aimed at helping buyers and sellers within the UK eBay community.
  
Based in Portsmouth, England, we have been trading on eBay since November 2006 and host auctions on eBay for local residents, businesses and charities in and around south Hampshire, although we do have clients as far a field as Weymouth, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Brighton and London.

We have the experience to match; our directors have had previous experience working with and alongside some of the UK’s leading internet auction sites (eBay, Bluecycle.com, I-Force (Police Zone), e-commerce and manufacturing companies.

 What Sort of Items Do You Sell / Auction?

 Auction Solution Services Ltd can sell almost anything that is legally acceptable to be sold on eBay.

Size isn’t important either, we can sell anything from an industrial lathe, Furniture or motor vehicle just as easily as we can selling an Ipod, Computer, clothing or Childs Doll.

How Big Is Your Audience For Your Sales / Auctions?

Over 90% of our sales and auctions are made available to buyers from all over the world. We maximise the opportunities available to us by trading on eBay and have the logistics structure and know-how in-place to sell your items on eBay sites located throughout the world.

Auction Solution Services Ltd has already shipped items to Australia, North and South America, the Far East, Europe, Russia and even into Africa.

 Do You Collect Items for Sale/Auctions?

Dependant upon the size, type and quantity of items that you wish to sell Auction Solution Services can collect items that you submit for auction by either estate car or large transit van anywhere within a 30 mile radius of Portsmouth / Hayling Island).

For collections outside of the 30-mile radius we would request that you contact us for a quotation to determine the cost of collection.

What If I want to retain the Item(s) Whilst You Sell It For Me? 

Some of our existing clients do use this option. We can manage the auction of your item(s) whilst offering our client the opportunity to either record descriptions and take digital images themselves or arrange for one of our team to visit you at your premises where by they will record the details and ensure suitable digital images are taken to maximise the opportunity of selling your item(s) on ebay.

What Happens To The Items I leave with Auction Solution Services Ltd.

All items either dropped off to us or collected shall be inventoried immediately and a copy passed to you (our client).

Auction Solution Services Ltd will then carry out the following action:

·        Evaluate your item(s)

·        Check branded goods to ensure that they are authentic

·        Write a professional listing

·        Take quality photographs (Up To 12 Images may be used dependant upon the item)

·        Place item in most appropriate eBay category

·        Start the auction at the best time

·        Send you an email with a link to your live auction

·        Answer questions from bidders

·        Send you an email when your item sells or is re-listed

·        Collect and process payment from buyer

·        Pack item carefully

·        Ship item to the buyer (We aim to ensure that all shipments are made within 24-48 hours from cleared receipt of payment). 

·        Send you a cheque or transfer the funds direct into your bank account and send you a statement of item sales

What happens if my item is damaged while in your possession?

Auction Solution Services Ltd shall take every precaution to ensure that your items are stored safely whilst in our possession. In the unlikely event that an item or items are damaged or lost whilst in our possession we will of course compensate you the seller (Our client).

In order calculate the compensation value, the value of the item is determined by it’s start price if the auction/sale has not finished or should the sale of the item or items have been concluded, this shall be based upon the highest bona fide bid.  
  
How long will it take to list my items?

This depends upon the item(s) that you have to auction. Auction Solution Services Ltd will check to see what similar items are selling on ebay, how they are performing and what volume of similar items are listed at one time. Our aim is always to maximise interest in your item. If there are numerous, similar items already live on ebay then we would wait to upload when competition for buyers is not so great.

Generally however, your items will be loaded within 5-15 days from the date of drop-off, collection or receipt of details (If Auction Solution Services Ltd visit your premises to record details and take images etc).
  
Who pays for postage and packing?
Postage and packaging fee’s are an additional charge that is paid in full by the successful wining bidder / buyer.
 
What if the high bidder doesn't pay for my item?

Should the winning bidder not pay for the item within seven (7) days, we will forward a payment reminder to them. Should they not respond within a further three (3) days, then Auction Solution Services reserve the option to revoke the auction/sale and file for a Non-Payment Dispute alert with eBay.

Should this happen then the option to purchase the item(s) is given to the second highest bidder. The Auction Solution Services Ltd fee shall then be calculated upon the payment made by the second highest bidder.

In the case of there being no other bidders, the item(s) shall be re-listed without charge to you the seller (Our Client).
 
When will I receive payment? 
Payments for all items sold are paid to our clients on a monthly basis (Normally around the 20th of each month) and comprise the value of completed auctions (less our commission) for every item sold between the 1st and last day of the previous month.
 
What Method Of Payment Is Used To Pay Me?

Payment to you the seller (Our Client) shall be made by either cheque or bank transfer, direct to your personal or business account. The later is an option used by many of our clients who are either businesses or individual who work Monday through Friday with time to visit their bank to pay cheques in.

A detailed statement of your account will be issued with the payment. This is normally submitted with the cheque or in the case of direct bank transfers it can be either emailed to you or postage via Royal Mail.
  
What Is The Auction Solution Services Ltd Better Society Programme?

Auction Solution Services Limited are proud to be one of the first UK eBay Power Sellers and Registered Auction Trading Assistants to donate 1% of traded value (Paid from our commission) into a fund aimed at improving the community in which we live.

Upon registering the company back on August 1st 2007 Auction solution Services Ltd has firmly believed in enriching the communities that its customers live in. Buyers can feel that each purchase made returns something to the community through 1% of the traded value of each and every item sold being accrued and paid direct to either a local charity or not for profit voluntary group within the Hampshire area, although in some cases, payments may be made to national charities or not for profit voluntary groups that are supported by local people and businesses within our clients community.
